10-day Money Back Guarantee & Lifetime Diamond Upgrade Policy
At Excel Diamonds our primary focus is that you be 100% completely satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, if for any reason you want to return your loose diamond, diamond ring, or jewelry item, simply notify us within our timetable for returns and we will refund your money. Our custom made jewelry typically takes about 2 weeks to manufacture. All orders canceled after 1 week (of order placement) will be subject to the 70% refund even though the merchandise has not yet shipped. How It Works: We give you a 10-day inspection period, starting from the day you receive your package. During this time, we encourage you to have you loose or set diamond evaluated and confirmed by a truly Independent Appraiser. We do not issue "appraisals" because it is unethical and a complete conflict of interest for a seller to provide in-house "appraisals" for his own merchandise.
Procedure For Returning Merchandise During Your 10-Day Examination Period 1. You must first call (866-829-8600) or e-mail us (sales@exceldiamonds.com) and request a Return Authorization Number (RAN). We will not accept your returned package if it does not have a visible RAN on the box.
2. Your return must be mailed via U.S. Post Office Insured with Registered Mail, Return Receipt Service, the box flaps securely taped, and insured for the Invoice amount that was included in your original shipment. If you need assistance, the U.S. Post Office will instruct you on procedure and forms to be filled out which is simple and quick. 3. Merchandise that is returned to us for a refund using the aforementioned instructions (only) need not be received by us within the 10-day return time frame in order to qualify for a refund. So long as we are notified by you of your intentions to return the merchandise within the 10 day period, and your returned package shipped back to us within 10 days of receipt, you will be eligible for a refund according to our stated policies listed above.
4. We will not accept any package shipped to us via Fedex, UPS, or DHL Service and will instruct Courier to return to Sender. If your incorrect return shipping method then delays the return of your merchandise to us until after the 10-day period has expired, no refund will be issued and the sale is final.
5. Upon receipt of your returned package, Exceldiamonds examines the item to determine that it is in its original undamaged condition. Rings sold without a center diamond that show signs of wear or altered by a Jeweler other than Exceldiamonds.com will not be accepted.
6. Exceldiamonds promptly issues your refund.

This upgrade policy, is defined as a 50% increase above your original purchase price. Your original purchase price is applied to your upgraded diamond and you simply pay the difference.
